Alan M. Pampanin, Esq.
Alan Pampanin has been practicing law since 1976 and in 1985 founded
Pampanin Law Offices dedicated entirely to immigration law. The firm has
since become an important presence in immigration law in New England.
Mr. Pampanin is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and formerly
of the California Bar Association as well, having practiced immigration law
in the San Francisco area before relocating his practice to Boston.
Mr. Pampanin has been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers
Association (AILA) since 1986. He served as Chairman of the New England
Chapter in 1994-95 and since then has chaired numerous AILA committees and
served as AILA Liaison to the Boston District Office of the INS and the
Department of Labor.
Mr. Pampanin is a well-known speaker on immigration law who regularly conducts
courses and presents lectures for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education
(MCLE), the Boston Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
He also lectures at colleges and universities in the Boston area, as well as
giving corporate presentations for human resource personnel and in-house
counsel.
Mr. Pampanin frequently speaks to community groups on immigration issues
through public service television appearances, citizenship drives, and
public information campaigns, educating community members regarding basic
matters such as how to obtain a green card, as well as important changes
in immigration law.
Alan Pampanin graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with
a degree in English Literature. He earned the Juris Doctor Degree from
Hastings Law School in San Francisco. Mr. Pampanin resides in Melrose,
Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
